Due to consistent growth and a recent restructure, the opportunity for an experienced Automatic Gate Technician, Fence Builder, exists with Byron and Beyond Fencing.
The successful applicant will bring solid technical experience in the fencing and gate industry, have their own transport and tools, and associated licenses. Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn new systems and plan scheduled work is a must. Our business is looking for a highly motivated individual with a broad range of experience to join the supportive, like-minded team based in our Byron Shire office.
This is a full-time role with huge potential for growth within the business.
Skills and Experience to be successful
- Driver’s license and white card
- Experience in Automatic Gates – Both Swinging & Sliding
- Fence building and installation (minimum of 2 years required)
- Competent in the use of job management systems
- Positive and enthusiastic attitude
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Maintaining a professional and friendly work environment with the team and clients.
- Upholding a high-quality standard of work
- Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
- Reliable and punctual is a must
- Product knowledge is advantageous
- Previous work with automatic garage doors was also advantageous
Role
Byron and Beyond Fencing have been designing, building, and maintaining fences and gates in the Byron Shire since 2005. We pride ourselves on quality work and good customer relations. We strive to leave every site better than when we arrived, so on top of a well-crafted product, we seek to bring JOY into the experience of each and every client, leaving the physical site looking better on the outside and the people we service feeling better on the inside.
Our work ranges from front feature fencing to basic timber and Colorbond boundary fences to a variety of pedestrian and driveway gates, including automatic ones. We have three in-house fabricators for all of our metal & fabrication work which puts a creative touch on our
final products. We do a lot of pool, security fencing and various work for the council. But this role mainly requires a technician to maintain and install automatic gates of all varieties Byron and Beyond Fencing is an equal opportunity family-owned fencing business based in Billinudgel, NSW.
